A.I. Golovan graduated from the Faculty of Marine Engineering at Odessa National Maritime University in 2004 with a degree in “Marine Power Plants and Equipment.” Since 2012, he has worked at the university as an assistant, senior lecturer, and associate professor in the Department of Marine Power Plants and Technical Operation. Since 2013, he has held the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences in the specialty 05.22.20 – “Operation and Repair of Transport Vehicles.”

He has participated in research projects at the Department of “Ship Power Plants and Technical Operation” at Odessa National Maritime University. From 2009 to 2013, he participated in the development of state-funded research projects “Improvement of the Technical Operation of Marine Power Plants” (Project No. 0111U08970 dated March 5, 2012), and DR No. 011U001013 dated January 17, 2013, as the lead researcher for sections dedicated to methods of remote monitoring of ship diesel engine parameters.

Participates in international scientific and technical congresses and conferences. Has published more than 20 scientific works, half of which appear in professional journals.

Area of scientific interest: Internet-based remote monitoring of operating parameters of ship diesel power plants.
