He was born on March 17, 1953, in Stari Dorogi, Belarus, to a military family.

In 1975, he graduated from the shipbuilding faculty of the OIIMF.

From 1975 to 1980, he worked in various positions at the Odesa Shipyard named after the 50th Anniversary of Soviet Ukraine.

In 1980-1989, he worked as deputy head of the model section of the Research and Mechanical Plant of the Southern Research Institute of the Navy.

Since 1994, he held the position of Head of the Production Department of the Southern Alliance Commercial Firm, and since 2000, he worked as Chief Engineer of the Sigran Commercial Firm - Ship Repair.

From 2007 to 2011, he held the position of Head of Production at Formet.

Since 2012, he has been working as the head of the laboratory of the Ship Repair Department of ONMU and a part-time senior lecturer at the same department.

Since 2015, he has been a full-time senior lecturer at the Department of Ship Repair - TORS.

He teaches classes in the following disciplines

• "Diagnostics and Technical Operation (for students of the shipbuilding faculty)
• "ISO and Quality Management and Enterprise Technical Resource Management (for students of the NMFS)
